Nursing and Midwifery Excellence

The programme aims to promote excellence in practice and shared decision making across our nursing teams and is the only accredited programme of its kind in the world. Our aim is to work towards accreditation over the next three years by embedding a framework that helps us work towards excellence in six key standards.

In October STSFT hosted a Nursing and Midwifery Excellence conference. On the day, we were joined by colleagues from two other Trust's who have already achieved Pathway to Excellence designation. Listen below to find out how they achieved designation, what their challenges were, and how the Trust will work towards accreditation over the next 18 months.
