We want our local residents to have equity if access to as many local services as possible and by working together we hope to achieve this. The need for consultant-led, speciality driven care is equally relevant for patient’s receiving planned services and by working together as one Trust out ambition is to deliver:

  • More care closer to home where it is safe, sustainable and appropriate to do so
  • Improved patient experience by separating planned care from emergency care
  • More consultant led ward rounds and senior speciality review
  • Better access to vital therapy and support services seven days a week
  • Reduce unnecessary delays in recovery
