Phase 1B- Paediatrics (April 2021)

This is a dedicated page for the purposes of consultation on the proposed staffing arrangements and implementation of the new nurse led Urgent Care for Children service, at South Tyneside Hospital. 

The consultation with staff started on 28th April 2021 and continued for a period of 30 days, during which time the identified affected staff were invited to give feedback on the proposal and essentially the new staffing model.  

Staff were also able to provide written feedback on the consultation or request individual meetings by contacting:

The finalised structure was communicated to staff during summer 2021.
