Recognition Awards

CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES HAS NOW PASSED

I am delighted to announce the launch of South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust’s Recognition Awards for 2022/23.  The COVID-19 pandemic has meant we have not held our awards ceremony since the Trust was formed and there are many examples of excellence by individuals and teams with much to celebrate.  These awards give us the opportunity to recognise and reward such achievements. 

However, the only way we can celebrate excellence is with your help. If you know of an individual or team who continually gives exceptional performance, has enthusiasm for the Trust and its vision, values and objectives, or has made a significant contribution to our organisation, please nominate them for an award.

The judging panel will meet in mid-February with short-listed teams and individuals invited to attend an awards ceremony at the Beacon of Light on 28 April 2023.

Governors' Award - This award is chosen from all short-listed entries by governor representatives on the judging panel on behalf of the Council of Governors.  

Chief Executive's Award - This award is chosen personally by the Chief Executive.
