This award recognises a team or individual who has championed innovation within STSFT.

 

They have embodied the ethos and values of innovation through developing innovative pathways or products to support/improve patient care, patient safety or staff experience, collaboratively working with external partners to help to create a culture of innovation or adopting new innovation to benefit the Trust.

 

The panel will be looking for evidence of a positive and sustained impact on patient/staff experience and/or safety. Entries must show:

  • how, or why, the innovation was identified;
  • how the change has had/will have a positive impact; and
  • how the improvements were/will be measured and will be sustained or spread to other partners.

Nomination Guidance

  1. The citation should focus on the impact of the nominee.
  2. Please provide enough context for the judging panel to understand why the impact was significant as they may not have much knowledge of the field. Why does this work? 
  3. How are they going above and beyond what they are expected to do? What are they doing differently?

General advice: Start with a sentence that summarises the impact that the nominee has had, follow up with the achievement; provide evidence to support the case.
