Over the last six months or so we have been doing lots of work to improve communication across our Trust. This has been done through the big STSFT Team Talk. This year’s annual staff survey will be a really important way to support our STSFT Team Talk programme. It’s an opportunity for you to share your views about your job, working for the Trust and working for the NHS as a whole. The survey is a key part of understanding how you feel about life at STSFT and how we can continue to improve things as an organisation.

A neonatal unit has welcomed a specialist X-ray machine to help its youngest patients thanks to the family of a girl born with a heart defect who continue to give back to the NHS.

Tuesday October 4th from 10am pop along to the library at Sunderland Royal Hospital (2nd floor Education Centre) to pick up a cake for your break and help raise funds for Macmillan Coffee morning. We’re also celebrating the launch of our new Wellbeing Reading Area.
On 11 October 2022, 9.30-12.35pm, the Nursing and Quality department will be holding a half day training event to provide Managers across the Trust training and guidance on Risk, Incident and Complaints Management.
