WWF's We Love Cities campaign - Sunderland shortlisted

The city of Sunderland has been shortlisted to participate in WWF’s ‘We Love Cities’ campaign for sustainability and climate action. As a Trust, we're passionate about sustainability and are working towards launching our very own sustainability strategy very soon. 

The ‘We Love Cities’ campaign is now live and will run until the 31st of October. It allows people across the globe to express support for sustainable urban development, by voting for their favourite city finalist from WWFs One Planet City Challenge, posting what they like, and sharing suggestions for sustainability improvement in the city. 

You can vote for Sunderland here: https://welovecities.org/city/sunderland and you're able to cast one vote per day for the duration of the campaign. 

You can also choose to share what you love about Sunderland, expressing support for sustainability work in the city (including the work we do as a Trust to support sustainability) and submit suggestions for making it even better. 

Using the #WeLoveSunderland hashtag on social media platforms also counts as a separate vote each day.
