FINAL REMINDER - IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE IT SERVICE DESK

Following the migration to NHSMail in April last year, any emails sent to old STFT and CHS email addresses have been automatically forwarded on to your NHSMail account.

All staff are reminded, in less than one week the automatic forwarding of emails from your old STFT and CHS email addresses will cease.

Please ensure by Tuesday 11th October, you have informed any remaining contacts, third parties or mailing lists that still send to your old address of your new NHSmail address. Any emails sent to your old STFT and CHS email address after this time will not be delivered to you. These messages will not be stored, queued or forwarded and therefore will not be retrievable in any way. The sender will receive a notification that their email was not delivered but they will not be informed of your new address.

With this in mind, please review and undertake the following actions (if appropriate):

·         Advise any organisation still sending to your STFT or CHS email address to switch to your NHSmail address

·         Update any automated processes externally that currently send to your STFT or CHS email address, to use your NHSmail address instead

·         Update any subscriptions, systems or websites that use your old STFT or CHS email address as a login. Failure to do this may result in you being locked out of an online system or website with no ability to reset your password.

Should you have any queries about this process, please contact the IT Service Desk.
