We are re-launching End of Life Comfort Care Packs at Sunderland Royal Hospital.

Health experts are urging parents and carers to ensure their children are vaccinated against measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) as data shows a worrying rise in cases across the UK.

The staff ID badge office at South Tyneside District Hospital will be closed on Monday 10th July. Normal hours will resume from Tuesday 11th July.

We are currently in the process of replacing all of the beds at Sunderland Royal Hospital site which will take until October. Whilst this is happening, we are aware that this will cause some disruption - particularly around the metabolic unit entrance and along A floor corridor while the beds are being built and moved to the appropriate ward.
