Replacing of beds at Sunderland Royal Hospital

We are currently in the process of replacing all of the beds at Sunderland Royal Hospital site which will take until October.  Whilst this is happening, we are aware that this will cause some disruption - particularly around the metabolic unit entrance and along A floor corridor while the beds are being built and moved to the appropriate ward.  Can we please ask for your patience during this process and civility towards the contractors undertaking this work.   This work is essential to ensure our patients are cared for on appropriate beds and mattresses and all endeavours are being made to ensure that this is undertaken with as little impact on care delivery as possible.
