As part of the Trust's Security Strategy lone working staff have been identified as being a priority.  To ensure the continued commitment to the safety of its employees the Trust has contracted Reliance UK to provide its lone worker solution.  All services and staff must be risk assessed by their managers to ensure the correct level of support is in place and if identified as a requirement, staff will be provided with a lone worker device.  Staff will be trained in the correct operation of the device and/or have access to the online training materials.  All staff provided with this system must use the device in the course of their daily work as per training and in line with the Lone Worker Policy.  The usage of the devices will be monitored and compliance reported back to individuals, Business Manager, Heads of Service and Matrons.
