NHS vaccination teams across the region are offering COVID-19 boosters and annual flu vaccination to those at greatest risk from both viruses.

From 8.00am on Saturday 17th until 5.00pm on Sunday 18th September, cable / duct trenching works will take place on entry to Sunderland Royal Hospital site from Chester Road where the new HV Sub-station is located. To allow this to occur, a section of the road will be closed off for the duration of the works with footpaths still in operation.

Following the death of Her Majesty The Queen, it is His Majesty The King's wish that a period of Royal Mourning be observed from now until seven days after The Queen’s Funeral.
