A team of colleagues who care for premature babies are walking their way between winter wonderlands to make hospital visits better for families this Christmas and beyond.

We have listened to what you have told us about our NHSP incentives. We plan to make some changes with effect from 1 December. This will replace all of our current schemes and includes shifts worked today. We will review things again at the end of January.

Due to current operational pressures and increased pressure in the Emergency Departments (ED), HCA shifts have been added to the allocate on arrive NHSP ward rosters. Staff who pick up these shifts will work in the Emergency Department and support the team with ambulance handovers.
