In some settings, paper prescriptions pads are used.  In community settings where FP10 pads are required (either community staff or acute staff working in a community setting), prescribers will need to be registered with the NHS Business Services Authority.  A prescription pad can be requested by sending an email to stsft.prescribing@nhs.net providing:

  • Full name
  • Locality
  • Service
  • NMC Number
  • Number of Pads required (this will be based on prescribing history)
  • Contact number
