Draws for the Trust staff lottery for July 2022 took place in the Treasury Office, East Block, South Tyneside District Hospital on 9 August 2022.  Congratulations to our winners:

The staff lottery is part of the Trust's Charity, and is registered with the local authority as a small society lottery.

 

The lottery is open to all staff to participate, with 50% of the income going towards the prize fund.   The rest of the income goes to the Staff Lottery Trust Fund administered by the Trust Charity, and overseen by HR.  The proceeds from the staff lottery fund can only be used for initiatives to improve staff welfare with clear patient care benefits. 

 

We really would like to see membership of the lottery grow so if you aren't a member and would like to know more, please click on the link below.  To coin a well known phrase......"you have to be in it to win it!"  The more tickets sold the greater the prizes - for example, if every member of staff purchased one ticket (chance) each month, there would be approximately £4000 issued in prize money).
