As part of the Government Levy the Trust offers, in partnership with South Tyneside College (Level 3), Sunderland College (Level 5) and Sunderland University (Level 6),  Leadership & Management Apprenticeships. These are funded by the Trust through the Levy and compliments the range of in-house leadership development programmes that we run.

  • Level 3 – for those with some management responsibilities with little/ no formal training and are serious about developing your abilities. It’s particularly suited to practising team leaders and first line managers who need to lead people through organisational change.
  • Level 5 – for those looking to continue their studies in management, middle managers wishing to learn new skills and those who want to underpin their practice with knowledge of latest theory and methodology, while gaining a high level qualification that reflects their understanding.
  • Level 6 – This has been designed in collaboration with a range of employers and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Appropriate for those who are established in a line management role and those who have already achieved a relevant Level 5 qualification.
  • Level 7 - This is aimed at strategic leaders who lead, manage and direct in the organisation at Band 7 and above to achieve a Senior Leader Masters Apprenticeship.
