The team co-ordinates all work experience and workforce development initiatives, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) enquiries and apprenticeships for the Trust.
We develop and support the delivery of apprenticeship programmes across the Trust for both newly appointed employees and existing employees looking to gain further qualifications.
New to post apprenticeships are offered in a range of occupational areas Healthcare, Administration, IT, Accountancy and Pharmacy. These will be advertised on NHS jobs. Please register with NHS jobs to receive alerts to suitable apprenticeships click here.
Existing employees can gain qualifications through apprenticeship programmes in line with their current roles or through identified development opportunities. For higher level apprenticeships please contact stsft.apprenticeships@nhs.net These include (please click each one for eligibility criteria) the Registered Nurse Degree, District Nurse, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Operating Department Practitioner, and Assistant Practitioner apprenticeships.
