Guardian Responsibilities

The guardian of safe working is responsible for ensuring that issues of compliance with safe working hours are addressed, as they arise, with the doctor and/or employer, as appropriate; and will provide reassurance to the trust board or equivalent body that doctors’ working hours are safe.
