Working efectively as a team improves staff engagement, increases effectiveness and innovation, improves wellbeing if staff, reduces turnover and sickness absence.
An effective team will: • Have clear, shared objectives and they measure their performance against these objectives • Be mutually dependent on each other and have to work closely together to achieve their objectives • Meet regularly to review their team’s effectiveness and discuss and decide how it could be improved • Communicate well with each other and support each other and give constructive feedback. • Be inclusive and value diversity
Organisational and Leadership Development, Occupational Health, Thrive, the Equality and Inclusion Team and Chaplaincy are working together to support you and your teams, and have a range of skills and expertise to meet your needs.
We can offer a range of interventions tailored to meet your teams’ specific needs such as: 1. Supporting you and your team to understand their behaviours and how it impacts on relationships. 2. Supporting your team through organisational change. 3. Improving you or your team’s performance. 4. Offer an assessment of your working style, your preferences and strengths, areas of development and how others perceive you. 5. Coaching and advice to help you to achieve your personal and team objectives. 6. Support following an incident or critical event. 7. Training and development development including; communication skills, civility, mental health awareness, psychological first aid, and positive wellbeing sessions.
Please complete the request form below, providing as much detail as you can. We will then decide on the most appropriate support.
We may signpost you to other support including; Freedom To Speak Up Ambassadors, HR, Dignity and Respect at Work Advisors.
We will be in touch usually within 4 weeks (or sooner depending on the nature of the request) of receiving your referral and be in contact with the referrer and the manager. We'll also look at how we can evaluate how the support has been useful. It is also important to ensure the team can have time to engage in the recommended support.
