Mindfulness is a way of paying attention to, and seeing clearly whatever is happening in our lives. It will not eliminate lifes pressures, but it can help us respond to them in a calmer manner that benefits our heart, head, and body. It helps us recognise and step away from habitual, often unconscious emotional and physiological reactions to everyday events. It provides us with a scientifically researched approach to cultivating clarity, insight, and understanding. Practicing mindfulness allows us to be fully present in our life and work, and improve our quality of life.

Free mindfulness sessions are available to all staff.

Our mindfulness taster sessions provide an introduction to mindfulness. Our 8 week mindfulness course gives a further understanding of mindfulness concepts, an opportunity to practice mindfulness techniques, and a reflective space to enable attendees to plan how they are going to incorporate mindfulness into their lifestyle going forward.

8 Week Mindfulness Course for Staff via Microsoft Teams

Our 8 week online Mindfulness course combines training in mindfulness with elements of cognitive therapy. The course is suitable for those who have already attended a mindfulness taster session with us or those who have had previous experience of using mindfulness in their daily life.

The next 8 week course starts on Tuesday 17th October 2023 at 5.15pm-7.30pm, and runs until Tuesday 12th December 2023.
