The Rehabilitation Team provides treatment and specialist advice to all patients who require it and have difficulty due to problems affecting the central nervous system. This includes many conditions including stroke, acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, Guillain Barre Syndrome and many more.

Rehabilitation is a process to support your recovery, maintenance and/or prevention to improve quality of living and support discharge from hospital.

You will be involved in discussions that will help you make informed choices about physical health, mental health, healthy lifestyle and social participation.

This is provided by a range of clinicians through assessment, treatment and education to increase your knowledge, ability and confidence to understand and manage your condition.
