The Clinical Effectiveness Department provide clinical audit training that is designed to cover the principles, practice and skills required to initiate and complete an audit, including what support is available.

Examples of sessions include: 

  • Bespoke training for clinical teams including a ‘bite-sized’ session which is designed to be delivered to teams within a scheduled time-frame e.g. a staff meeting
  • The Trust induction programme for junior doctors; supporting an increased understanding of the importance of clinical audit to enhance patient care.

Due to social-distancing regulations brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Clinical Effectiveness Department are currently only offering an online delivery approach through the conferencing facility ‘Microsoft Teams’. For further information contact the team based at your site.
