What do we do

The Community Infection Prevention and Control team are employed by the Trust and commissioned by the CCG, we will deliver an Infection Prevention and Control supportive service to Care Homes, GP Practices and Domiciliary Services across South Tyneside and Sunderland.

There are 2 members of the Community Infection Prevention and Control Team

  • Allenore Azizi - Band 7 Senior Infection Prevention and Control Nurse based in the community

  • Julie Ainsworth - Band 6 Infection Prevention and Control Nurse based in the community
