Dermatology

What we do 

The Community Dermatology service is based at Bunny Hill. We  offer local accessible, high quality dermatology and minor surgery services in a primary care setting, shifting care closer to home from hospital and into community settings. 

Our team acknowledge that our patients present with a wide range of skin conditions and strive to provide individual, patient centred care, in a professional and sensitive manner. 

We provide education and psychological support to patients suffering from chronic skin problems including acne, eczema and psoriasis, encouraging self- care and offering rapid access appointments for those patients experiencing significant flare up of their skin condition.    

We also offer a “one-stop” service for patients presenting with skin lesions. Following assessment and diagnosis, from one of our team of doctors and specialist nurses, there is the opportunity for the patient to undergo an appropriate surgical procedure (when indicated) on the same day. 

We also provide a range of treatment options, including cryotherapy for warts and verrucae, administration of a local steroid to aid hair growth and suppress keloid scarring and application of emollients and topical steroid therapy for eczema and psoriasis.
