Matrons, Ward Managers and Nurses In-Charge will continue to manage nurse staffing in their own areas Monday to Friday 07:30-15:45. Matrons will continue to have responsibility for the placement of staff, therefore all nurse staffing related concerns and sickness absence etc. during these times, should continue to be reported via this route. Please do all that you can, as you usually do, to address staffing issues and advise your Matron of areas of concern as soon as possible.

Out of Hours (15:45 – 20:15 Monday to Friday and 07.30 to 20:15 Saturday and Sunday)

All nurse staffing related concerns, including sickness, should to be reported to the Nurse Staffing Administrator on 07733003316 who will work with the Duty Matron to review the staffing situation. The Duty Matron will oversee the nurse staffing situation and be responsible for the reallocation of staff as necessary.

Out of Hours (20:15 - 07:30 Monday to Sunday)

All nurse staffing related concerns, including sickness, should be reported to the Clinical Site Managers via bleeps SRH: 51044/52121 STDH: 50177.
