Winter staffing hub changes

Over the recent busy winter months, the Corporate Nursing Team have supported a Winter Staffing Hub with the management of daily nurse staffing. The Winter Staffing Hub will close at 20:30 on Sunday 26 February.

Starting Monday 27 February 2023:

Matrons, Ward Managers and Nurses in Charge will continue to manage their own areas Monday to Friday 07:30-15:45. Matrons will continue to have responsibility for placement of staff, therefore all staffing related concerns and sickness during these times, should continue to be reported via this route. Please do all that you can, as you usually do, to address staffing issues and advise your Matron of areas of concern as soon as possible.

Out of Hours (15:45 – 20:15 Monday to Friday and 07.30 to 20:15 Saturday and Sunday)

Duty Matron (SRH 52274 & STDH 51555) will review and be responsible for placement of staff, supported by a Nurse Staffing Administrator. Therefore all staffing related concerns and sickness should to be reported via this route.
