Update on mileage reimbursement rates

Earlier this year we made some changes to our mileage reimbursement rates after listening to feedback from staff, particularly from our colleagues in community teams, about the impact of current high fuel costs.    Given the ongoing difficulties people are experiencing with the cost of living, we are pleased to confirm that the following will remain in place until further notice:

• Increase in the mileage rate paid after the 3,500 mileage cap from 20p per mile to 25p per mile for STSFT staff for use their own cars and, for lease car drivers, from 16p per mile to 21p per mile after the 4,000 mileage cap. 
• Increase in the mileage rate by 5p per mile from 56p per mile to 61p per mile for staff using their own cars (up to the mileage cap of 3,500)
• Increase in the mileage rate by 5p per mile from 47p per mile to 52p per mile for staff using lease cars (up to the mileage cap of 4,000).
