Staff nembers past and present will be among those to take part in Proms in the Park.
This will be held on Sunday, July 2, from 3pm to 5pm in Bents Park and admission is free.
It will feature South Tyneside Orchestra.
It brings together more than 40 amateur musicians, including many ex-pupils of the South Tyneside Music Service.
Sarah Fenwick, who is known by Anderson in her role as Divisional Deputy Administration Manager in the Division of Theatres and Critical Care will perform.
She is a South Shields-based Soprano.
She has performed at the Proms in the Park before and previously appeared in the role of Mother Abbess in The Sound of Music at The Customs House last September.
She will be singing popular pieces from well-known musicals.
The show will also include Choirmaster, another South Tyneside-based group.
It is billed as "a vibrant and exciting no fuss choir, inspiring voices and changing lives."
The audience is asked to take along a deckchair or blanket to sit on.
Food and drink to buy purchase or you can take along your own picnic.
