Study days and education next week for Nurses, Midwives and AHPs 
To support with the Trust's response to the BMA Industrial Action next week, we are standing down all study days and education / training next week for all Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals.  Our partners at Sunderland and Northumbria Universities and the Trust's Education team are aware of this.
 
This will allow us to support our teams on the wards during the period of strike action.  It also means we can redeploy staff from Education roles to support in ED on both sites.  Health Care Certificate Training is stood down all next week and some OSCE training. Ward managers and staff will be told individually relating to OSCE training, but any queries should be directed to: stsft.internationallyeducatednurses@nhs.net.
 
This is for the period of industrial action only and normal training and study leave will resume from Monday 17 April.
