STSFT Safeguarding Team - calls from the general public

STSFT safeguarding team have recently been receiving calls from the general public wanting to raise a safeguarding concern. Please can staff be reminded that STSFT safeguarding team do not take calls directly from the general public as their role is to provide advice, support and supervision to STSFT staff only.

If a member of the public is wanting to raise a complaint, then they can be signposted to STSFT advice and complaints department on 0191 569 9666. If a member of the public is wanting to make a safeguarding referral, they should be signposted onto the relevant Local Authority.
