We will welcome schoolchildren to our hospitals as they visit us to sing carols in the lead up to Christmas.

On Tuesday, December 13, from 1.30pm, Castletown Primary School will visit.

They will sing in the main concourse of B Floor at Sunderland Royal Hospital.

St Joseph's Primary School will then from 2pm on Thursday, December 15, in the same location.

On Friday, December 16, pupils from Barnes Junior School will sing in the restaurant from noon.

This will take places during the volunteer Christmas lunch.

Children from Ridgeway Primary will sing carols on Thursday, December 15, at South Tyneside District Hospital.

They will arrive at 11.30am and perform in the area outside EAU in the Ingham Wing.

They will have a break for lunch and then sing around the tree at around 12.30pm.
