School holidays and childcare support

After listening to your feedback and comments during our Big Money Team Talk, many of which mentioned issues with childcare arrangements and costs, we are reviewing options around how we can increase/improve support for those who are caring for children.

We are also trying to encourage those who care for children to think ahead during 2023, and seek help or advice from our Carer Coordinator, Susan Matheson, if they need childcare during the school holidays.

Please see school holiday dates for 2023 below (these may vary depending on local authority area)

• Monday 20th - Friday 24th February
• Monday 3rd - Friday 14th April
• Monday 1st May (Bank Holiday)
• Monday 8th May (Bank Holiday - King's Coronation)
• Monday 29th May (Bank Holiday) - Friday 2nd June
• Friday 21st July - Friday 1st September
• Monday 23rd - Friday 27th October
• Thursday 21st December - Friday 5th January
