School Aged Immunisation Team

It is with great sadness that we lose the School Aged Immunisation Team from the Trust, who are currently based at Palmer Hospital.

The team will cease to operate after losing the bid tender to another provider in September.

We would like to thank them all, for their outstanding contribution to the public health agenda, in keeping our children, families and public in general, safe and protected from infectious diseases.

They helped with all immunisation programmes to school aged children, but also supported with flu and Covid programmes when needed.

Their expertise made a massive difference to our local communities across Sunderland, South Tyneside and Gateshead.

You will all be really missed and we would like to wish you all, the very best in your chosen careers going forward.
