A message from Anne Negouse, IPC Nurse based at STDH:
"I'm Anne Nagouse, band 6 IPCN based at STDH. I've worked for the Trust for much of the last 41 years-mostly as a Theatre nurse before branching out into other areas.
I spend as much of my free time as possible outdoors pursuing various sports and activities or simply hiking with my dog Bonnie. Having sustained a minor running injury, I had been restricted to only walking for a while so decided to register for an event to channel my energy.
I had planned to attempt the National 3 peaks challenge for fun, but after hearing about several family members, friends and colleagues who were themselves or had loved ones diagnosed with cancer I was motivated to dedicate the effort to a more worthy cause. This resolve was bolstered further when, as many of you know, two esteemed members of our IPC team Sharon Gordon and Richard Ellis tragically died.
I have a JustGiving page with further information regarding the event that can be accessed via the following link, please visit and consider leaving a donation and/or a message of support for the benefit of Cancer Research UK."
