We are hosting a Patient Safety Conference on Wednesday June 21, 2023. The event will take place at the Beacon of Light, Sunderland. 

The aim of this year’s conference is to celebrate success, stimulate innovation and share best practice. Abstract applications for oral presentation/workshop and/or poster are invited from all clinical staff from all areas across the Trust. If your abstract is about a project that is in progress or on-going, the work must be sufficiently advanced in time for the conference on 21st June 2023.

Topics may include; a change in practice in your area of work that has made improvements for patients and/or your colleagues and may include research, audit, service improvement or evaluation project you have been involved in and that will be of interest to others. All lead applicants of accepted presentations will be expected to apply for a place to attend the conference.
