Our Colleague Tilda Shete

It is with great sadness that we inform colleagues of the death of Clotilda 'Tilda' Shete, one of our Radiographers. Tilda passed away suddenly, but peacefully at home. 

Tilda spent 20 years working for the Trust. She was based at Sunderland Royal Hospital, having joined us from her home country of Kenya. 

She will be remembered as a dear friend to many and was known for her infectious laugh, big smile, kind heart, and willingness to help anyone. She was always the first to volunteer to cover shifts and never shied away from doing more than her fair share. 

Tilda was a valued member of the STSFT family and will be dearly missed by all who knew her and worked alongside her. She is survived by her 3 sons, who have asked us to share their thanks and appreciation for the kind messages and support offered by her friends and colleagues. 

A book of condolence has been placed in the Chapel at Sunderland Royal for anyone who wishes to share a memory or pass their condolences on to Tilda's family.
