The Trust’s allocate on arrival (AoA) incentive will continue up to and including Monday 17 April. This is a £100 incentive for shifts booked via the AoA rosters at South Tyneside District Hospital and Sunderland Royal Hospital. There are shifts available for registered nurses (Band 5) and healthcare assistants (Band 2).
Staff who pick up AoA shifts will be redeployed to an area of greatest clinical need. Please note that you may be moved during a shift.
There are ED corridor shifts available via the AoA rosters, these shifts have a specific note attached, which identify the shifts as ED corridor.

NHSP incentive for (EICO) shifts
The Trust’s EICO shift incentive will also continue up to and including Monday 17 April. This is a £100 incentive for EICO shifts. This is for HCAs who have completed the Trust’s Enhanced Interactive Care and Observation (EICO) training. You must have the Band 3 code as part of your NHSP profile.
