We are pleased to confirm that the £50 shift incentive for allocate on arrival shifts has been extended until Thursday 30th June. This is available to Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants booking shifts via the NHSP Ward at Sunderland Royal Hospital and South Tyneside District Hospital between Wednesday 8th March and Thursday 30th June.

In order for NHSP to be able to calculate shifts that are eligible for the incentive, timesheets worked within the qualifying period must be authorised and released within the timeframe below (see payment schedule below).

Please note the above timescales relate solely to the ‘allocate on arrival’ incentive payment. Payment for hours worked will continue to be made each week in accordance with the normal NHSP timescales.

Incentive Terms and Conditions

· Staff must be registered with NHSP.

· Staff will be eligible for the incentive payments once NHSP has confirmed that shifts have been worked in the qualifying period.

· Shifts are paid at the grade required, for example if a Band 6 works a Registered Nurse Band 5 shift they are paid at Band 5.

· *Please note – the £50 incentive payment is subject to the usual tax and national insurance deductions.
