NHS Big Tea

As part of NHS Big Tea 2022, Em Wilkinson-Brice (NHS National Director for People) met with Louise Williamson, a newly qualified nurse who works at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. In the conversation, Louise talked about the health conditions she experienced (hearing loss and brain aneurysm) whilst undertaking her nursing studies, the support she received from the university and the trust, and the importance of speaking up, and how important it is to have a supportive team. Louise completed her nursing studies in February 2022, gaining a first-class degree. A video of the conversation is available on YouTube here.
