New IPC Electronic Audit System Launch

The IPCT are pleased to announce the launch of the new electronic audit system. Over the next few weeks wards and departments will be receiving hand hygiene / PPE validation audits reports via the Global View (GV) system. Other IPC audits e.g., Urinary catheter, toilet aid, and environmental will be rolled out over the coming months, more information to follow. 

Benefits of the  new system include:

• Immediate access to results 
• Reduce admin time
• Automated action plan 
• Simplifying, creating and recording actions
• Improved collaboration and sharing of information

Please note this will not replace the Matron's Scorecard which is completed by ward and department staff on a bi-monthly basis.
