Network Rail has announced  strike which will affect lines between Pelaw - South Hylton on the Tyne and Wear metro service.

If you travel to and from work via the metro please consider alternate transport on the proposed dates which are listed below.
Tuesday 21st June, Thursday 23rd June, Saturday 25th June between 07:30 - 18:30. 

Please note that service will resume as normal on Wednesday 22nd June, Friday 24th June and Sunday 26th June however Network Rail has advised there may be disruption to service.
