More nursing staff are on the way!

We want to let you know that we have lots more nursing staff joining #TeamSTSFT soon.  At this current moment in time, we have 239 nurses and 68 healthcare assistants awaiting pre-employment checks and/or a start date with us.  Our job now is to get these people into your teams and departments quickly so that you will start to feel the benefit of more staff soon.  We expect around 50 nursing staff to start in November, a further 70 in December and 50 more in January.   We know that one of the big issues is getting more nursing staff into our teams as quickly as possible as this will make the biggest positive difference for you all.  To speed up pre-employment checks we have already streamlined our reference process.  Last week, we also confirmed a significant investment to expand our recruitment services team across the Trust to help speed up our processes.
