CHoICE Procurement Services is currently experiencing supply issues across a variety of products. This is causing an impact to service delivery. 

This is a national problem that is completely out of our control and affecting all of our regional Trusts. Unfortunately, some suppliers are struggling to meet demand due to issues such as the availability of raw materials and problems with imports and transport.

I understand that this situation is frustrating for colleagues. It is also frustrating for the procurement team who are trying their absolute best to resolve it. We are aware that there have been occasions where the team has received abuse from colleagues in relation to this. This is absolutely unacceptable and I ask that you are understanding, kind and respectful at all times.

We will continue to do all that we can to ensure that goods are available and are working closely with NHS England and regional trusts to find solutions. In the meantime we ask that you work with us to try and find appropriate solutions, such as clinically suitable alternatives when like for like goods are unavailable.
