May is national walking month!

Movement and being outdoors can have a positive impact on our mental wellbeing. Walking is free, flexible and fun. It's proven to have huge benefits for our physical health and mental health. Our psychological support service for staff, Thrive, has created our STSFT Wellbeing Walks. These walks give you the chance to get moving and enjoy some 'time out' in the fresh air, within in our local areas.

Join us for one of our wellbeing walks in May:

  • Wed 3 May: 12.30pm. 20 min walk from SRH
  • Sun 7 May: 10.30am. 1hr 30 min walk from Washington
  • Wed 10 May: 12.05pm. 20 min walk from SRH
  • Sun 14 May: 10am. 2 hour walk from Boldon. Dogs and family members welcome!
  • Wed 17 May: 12.05pm. 20 min walk from SRH
  • Sun 21 May: 10.30am. 1hr 30 min walk from Marsden. Dogs and family members welcome!
  • Wed 24 May: 12.30pm. 20 min walk from SRH
  • Wed 31 May: 12:05pm. 20 min walk from SRH
