The Academic Health Science Network for the North East, and North Cumbria (AHSN NENC) is running a project to support health and social care line managers across NENC to have effective and meaningful conversations with staff; and would like to invite you to attend a ‘conference style’ collaboration training event to educate and equip line mangers/supervisors to have quality conversations with their staff, to support their health and wellbeing.
Who is the event for:
Anyone at STSFT, regardless of their role or grade/band, who has supervisory / line management responsibilities for staff.
When and where are the events:
Two dates are available 4th & 6th July; (two identical events to give you a choice, to meet your requirements). The event is free with refreshments and lunch provided and will take place at the Durham Centre in Belmont, Durham, DH1 1TN.
Why should you attend this event?
The current pressures on the health and social care system of vacancies, sickness absence, staff turnover and high levels of work-related stress present a significant challenge to line managers and leaders. This event will equip line managers to have meaningful and effective conversations to improve staff health and wellbeing, which will ultimately improve the care provided to patient’s/clients.
