LFT testing for elective day case patients - updated flow chart

Please note an update below regarding LFT testing for elective day case patients who need to be admitted as an inpatient:

1. If LFT negative at admission, no further testing is required, and the patient should be moved to any bed in an elective specialty appropriate ward. 

 2. If the patient is COVID-19 positive or becomes symptomatic, they should be placed in a side room if available. If not, an empty bay should be considered. If the only option is a bay with other patients, social distancing between beds must be maintained and appropriate PPE (face mask) should be worn where possible.
