Learning Disability Week 19 -25 June 2023

We are celebrating Learning Disability Week 19 – 25 June. This year is all about busting myths and living life with a learning disability. Our Learning Disability & Autism Acute Liaison Team and self-advocates from our local group Sunderland People First, are hosting an engagement event on Monday 19th of June at Sunderland Royal Hospital. Come along and meet members of the team. We want to hear from you, tell us, what does a good life mean to you?

The team will also have an information stand at South Tyneside District Hospital Ingham Wing and Sunderland Hospital B Floor (near the lifts) all week. Everyone is welcome to come along and have a browse.
