Join in this year's IPC Christmas creative challenge

We wreath you a Merry Christmas!

That's the challenge laid down by our Infection Prevention and Control Team has they invite staff to get involved with this festive season's creative competition - with some real crackers lined up as prizes.

Everyone is welcome to submit their wreath design, which must promote IPC and the measures we use to keep us and our patients safe.

There is no size limit to the entry and they can take any form you choose, with all designs to be submitted no later than Wednesday, December 14.

They can be dropped off at the IPC Department on A Floor at Sunderland Royal Hospital or at the team's office in the Harton Wing at South Tyneside District Hospital.

Make sure they are labelled up with the entrant's name, department and email address.

Judging will take place on Friday, December 16.

First prize will be an overnight stay at the Vermont Hotel in Newcastle, which will include a three-course meal and breakfast.

Prizes will also be presented for second and third place.
