There is currently an issue with ESR which can lead to duplicate workflow notification emails being sent to some employees.


Workflow notifications in the system are still being delivered, however some employees may receive multiple reminder emails. These are primarily related to Training Competence Expiry, Professional Registration (NMC/GMC) Expiry Reminders and Appraisal Review Due processes.


Users are advised to continue using ESR as normal while IBM (the system providers) are investigating the causes of the duplication as a matter of highest priority.
