As part of Infant Mental Health Awareness Week, our teams have organised two reflective practice sessions. The focus of the sessions will be on understanding early trauma.

The first reflective practice session is held at Cleadon Park for Lifecycle and Health Minds Team on Tuesday 14th 9am - 11am. The focus will be on understanding early trauma, as per the infant mental health awareness week theme. I will discuss early trauma and the impact on child development/brain development, which can leave serious and lasting consequences that can create difficulties for children into their adult lives. Staff are also encouraged to bring any trauma cases they want to discuss within the safe group setting.

The second session will be held at Clarendon for the 0-19 team on Wednesday 15th June 9am - 11am and the same focus as above, again the 0-19 staff are encouraged to bring any trauma related cases they want to discuss within the group.
